Mrs. Carter earned her B.A. in Education/ Psychology from Southern Adventist University (2001), and her M.A. in Education-Reading from Grand Canyon University (2006). She has worked in education for seven years, and this is her third year at Fletcher Academy.

Mrs. Carter enjoys reading, crafts, camping, scrapbooking, family and friends. She is married to James Carter, the Chaplain at Fletcher Academy, and they have one son.
