Mrs. Jenks and her high school sweetheart, Paul, both graduated from Fletcher Academy in 1984. Mrs. Jenks then graduated from Southern College (now Southern Adventist University) in 1986 with her A.S. in Office Administration and then went on to receive her B.S. in Business Administration (emphasis in Management/Leadership).

Mrs. Jenks has earned certification as a "Master Instructor Microsoft Office Specialist" as well as certification as an "Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC3) Authorized Instructor" (2003 and 2005). She has enjoyed doing consulting work in the form of computer training for the Southern Union and Mid-America Union Conferences over the last five years.

Mrs. Jenks enjoys time spent with her family and dogs. She also enjoys reading, cross-stitching, scrapbooking, hiking/camping, and learning anything new.

Mrs. Jenks and her husband, Paul, have two daughters who both attend Fletcher Academy.
