Mrs. Novak has held a number of different positions during her 31 years at Fletcher Academy including Vice Principal, Registrar, Business Teacher and Interim Principal. Mrs. Novak worked in a Law Office and also taught two years at Blue Ridge Community College. She graduated from Union College with her BS degree in Business and Education and then went on to earn her Masters from Western Carolina University.

Mrs. Novak loves to play in the dirt (gardening), tennis, reading, watching her daughter jump her horse and socializing with friends. Mrs. Novak and her husband, Tim, moved to the Fletcher area directly following college. They have one child as well as a cat, dog, and a horse.
