Admissions :: Financial
Yearly Cost
The yearly cost is composed of tuition, entrance fee, cafeteria charges, and housing fees for dormitory students. A monthly statement will be sent to the address(es) provided.
At registration time it is expected that each student will pay the first month's billing plus the entrance fee (dormitory students will need to pay an additional $100.00 for room and key deposit). Earnings from student labor are applied to the student's account. The balance of fees is to be paid each month.

Financial Aid
There are several sources of financial aid. Occasionally students find sponsors, often from their home churches, who are willing to help on a regular basis, and Fletcher Academy provides a substantial sum of money for worthy students. Arrangements must be made with school administration for financial assistance. Through the work-study program, our industries provide outside revenue for the academy, and it is through this revenue and student labor in these industries that the academy is able to provide financial aid. Therefore, as much as possible, the work coordinator will assign students on financial aid to these industry jobs. Furthermore, to maximize student’s earnings in helping to pay the balance on their account, students on financial aid will be required to work a minimum of half of the home leaves. A student who is on financial aid and is fired (or quits) his/her job or receives major discipline will forfeit their financial aid, thus making the parents responsible for the full amount.

Financial and Collection Policies
The following financial policies have been adopted, and it has been found that strict adherence to these policies is in the best interest of the student, the student's family, and the school:
- The account for the previous year's expenses at Fletcher Academy must be settled before the student is permitted to enter for the current school year. Accounts from siblings who attended Fletcher must also be settled before another member of the family is admitted as a student.
- Neither transcripts nor diplomas will be issued unless the student’s account is paid in full. Transcript requests are required in writing along with a processing fee of $3.00.
- Exam permits will not be issued unless the student’s account is paid in full. Exam permits are required before a student may take semester examinations.
- A student transferring from another school must clear his/her account with that school before he/she can be admitted to Fletcher Academy.
- The established policy for Fletcher Academy regarding student accounts is that all accounts are either to be paid in advance, or the balance, after the student’s earnings are applied, is to be paid by the 15th of the month in which the statement is issued. (Student earnings will be applied to the student’s account according to the payroll timetable, which is every two weeks.) For persons with accounts that continue to have a balance owing the school, the following policies will apply:
- Step 1: Accounts that exceed $1,200 for dorm students or $800 for village students, and continue unpaid past the 25th of the month, will be considered delinquent. The student may be re-assigned to a job that produces the highest level of income through higher wages and/or increased hours, including working Sundays and extra on leaves and vacations as work is available (usually industrial jobs). The job re-assignment can be avoided if a partial payment and written payment plan is received in the Finance Office by the 25th of each month. (In other words, the job re-assignment will only happen on accounts for which a workable written payment plan is not received by the 25th of each month.)
Step 2: If accounts exceed $1,600 for dorm students or $1,000 for village students and continue unpaid past the 25th of the month, the balance due will be required to be paid in full within one month.
Step 3 : If neither of these two options is accomplished within a month, the student will be asked to withdraw from school and payment in full of the amount due will be expected.
