Senior Class Trip (04/15/07-04/20/07)
How does history really come alive for young people? Experiencing it first-hand. That's exactly what the Fletcher Academy Class of 2007 did during their recent class trip to Washington, DC from April 15-20. This tightly knit group of students enjoyed several days of educational fun and bonding while visiting such venues as the National Air and Space Museum, the National Zoo and a Washington Nationals baseball game. While in DC, the senior class and sponsors also visited our nation's Capitol Building. Although they were not able to personally meet their district representative, Heath Shuler, they were given a personal tour by one of Mr. Shuler's personal aides. This trip provided the graduating class with one last experience that will provide a lifetime of memories.
