I’ve become accustomed to walking into the Academy office and finding the answers to most all of my questions in the brain of one Miss Christina Renee. I have known “Chrissy” since her infancy, and I must say it is a blessing to watch an adorable baby grow into an intelligent child and on into a stunning young lady. If you do not know her, I encourage you to change that. You will find her acquaintance refreshing, her friendship a blessing and her service a godsend.       
Chrissy, I believe you reflect the spirit of Fletcher Academy, specifically in the area of service.

At the last supper, Christ told his disciples (and us) that “the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who rules like the one who serves” (Luke 22:26).   I have watched you serve again and again. I have watched you dedicate your mind to finding a solution to a problem and going out of your way to making that solution a reality. I challenge you to continue down this path and to continue being an example for us all.

I also forewarn you: cling to Christ so the devil cannot tempt your eyes from Him. A life of service to others for Christ does not bring fame or glory. As we see in Christ’s example, service to others can bring rejection and heartache. Stay the cause and shine.

I am privileged to know you, and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
